First Annual Festival of Books

The College Park Lions, College Park Arts Exchange and College Park Community Library would like to thank everyone who attended our First Annual Festival of Books last weekend.  We were very pleased to see so families and friends from our community attend this event.

Afternoon Story Time

Afternoon Story Time!!  Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 - 4:00 All ages welcome!

Drop In after school!
 
Older students are welcome to practice their reading skills!  Join our staff and read to the younger children.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are looking for volunteers to cover Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30.  We are also looking for volunteers for the 1st and 4th Saturdays from 12:00 - 3:00 anyone interested please contact the library colparklib@gmail.com or call  jackie 301-474-8044.

The library will be closed on these days.  The library is also closed on all federal holidays including Memorial day May 27th and Labor Day on Sept. 2nd.

Book Group

The library's Book Group will continue to meet on the 4th Thursday from 7:00 - 8:30.  Our book group is very informal and we decide which books to read based on the list of books from our members. Reading with Bella and Kirby!
Bella, our resident beagle, is on "duty" the 2nd Sat. from 12:00 - 3:00 she will listen to children ages 5-12 while they read to her.

Kirby, our resident pup, is on "duty" the 3rd Sat. from 10:00 - 12:00 he will listen to children ages 5-12 while they read to him.
